I LOVE WORDS!

Hi Kids,

No matter what corner of the world you find yourself in at the moment, hope you’re doing well, and dare I say it, keeping safe. Who would have thought a virus would have the power to unify people, in fear if in nothing else?

Definitely unity of thought, wouldn’t you say? Everyone thinking of the same thing, everyone wearing masks, hellbent on washing their hands a million times a day.

If you’ve been following my weekly rants, you’ll know how much I like words, especially gems of words and when they’re properly used.

To that end, I’ve been busy collating lists of fun words to learn. All words are good, but some have character. The spelling is intriguing, or the pronunciation, or both! I’ll let you know when my lists of words are ready. Because if you know me at all, you know how excited I can get over something. So I can’t stop at one list. One list spawns another, and another…

I’ve got 100-word lists, 200-word lists, 1-syllable-word lists, and other fun lists up my sleeve.

For now, I’ll leave you with this. How familiar are you with idioms?
